Upgrading iPhone SE to iOS 13 Public Beta

          in iOS

Apple has released last June 24, 2019 the first public beta of iOS 13 following just three weeks of developer beta testing. You can download it now after a few months that Apple initially said the public beta would be available in July. Read on for instructions on how to install the iOS 13 public beta in your iPhone SE.

Please take note that iPhone’s lower than the iPhone SE will not be able to run iOS13 as per Apple’s support page. You can get an upgrade or get the iPhone SE from our store here (https://homeandprostudio.com/product-category/iphones/). Here is a list of Apple’s current devices that will run iOS13

          • iPhone XS
          • iPhone XS Max
          • iPhone XR
          • iPhone X
          • iPhone 8
          • iPhone 8 Plus
          • iPhone 7
          • iPhone 7 Plus
          • iPhone 6s
          • iPhone 6s Plus
          • iPhone SE
          • iPod touch (7th generation)

Let’s move on to the steps on how to install iOS13 public beta. And please do note that this is a beta software, and like all beta software it still has a lot of bugs and performance issues, especially with things like audio playback, HomePods, and AirPods. You’ll also run into incompatibility with third-party apps as developers have not yet updated iOS 13. So far, Facebook is working on the device we tested.

We used the device iPhone SE 16GB with model no. MLLL2LL/A that was running iOS 12.3.1

          1. Just like what we always do when we fix your devices, we make a back-up of the entire state before we do upgrade. Archive a backup so that you can go back to iOS12 if ever, you cannot stand with the bugs of this beta software. Always back up your data and files before installing beta versions of iOS. We recommend that you do an iTunes backup and archive it before installing the iOS public beta.
          2. Install profile. From your iOS device, go to beta.apple.com/profile to download the configuration profile. Your iOS device will notify you when the profile has been downloaded. Open Settings, tap the profile and follow the onscreen instructions to allow installation.

          3. When done downloading the profile, visit settings and just above Airplane mode, you can see the Profile Downloaded, tap and install

          4. Update your iOS device. You usually go to and tap Settings > General > Software Update to install any available beta software.
          5. The Over-the-Air update will download to your phone. Your iPhone should now restart to complete the profile installation Once your iPhone has restarted, go to Settings > General > Software Update. You should now see the iOS 13 update ready to be installed.

This process will still be the same for all the supported devices furthermore, Apple will push updates and fixes which is usually expected to be released roughly every two weeks until September. We hope you are happy with this short tutorial. Have you installed the iOS 13 public beta? Let us know down in the comments.
