Accessing Recovery Menu in Macs with Apple Silicon

          in New to Mac

There are new changes in the process of booting up your machine with Mac OS install if it has the new Apple Silicon chip. The macOS Recovery is the built-in recovery system of your Mac and to access this menu prior to the M1 Macs you have to access it with key combinations or holding down the option key on boot up.

With the new Apple Silicon like the M1 MacBooks, to access the recovery is to press and hold the power button on your Mac until you see “Loading startup options.”
