
Creating iCloud/Apple ID without an Apple Device
iCloud is a cloud storage and cloud computing service from Apple Inc. launched on October 12, 2011. As of 2018, the service had an estimated 850 million users, up from 782 million users in 2016. It’s part of the Apple eco-system to seamlessly share content from user’s devices.
If you don’t have a Mac or an iOS device you can still use the iCloud services like their Drive that works like Google Drive or Dropbox and can be installed also on Windows computers. Pages, Numbers, and Keynote are online Office Applications in which Pages is equivalent to MS Word for document editing, Numbers equivalent to MS Excel for editing spreadsheet applications, and Keynote equivalent to MS PowerPoint for your presentation slides.
